Mrs. Jentgen's 1st / 2nd Graders

  • Anika - car pools, rechargeable batteries, recycle paper, etc., buy a Prius, special fireplace, special light bulbs that don't use as much energy
  • Elsa - Turn off the lights when finished, recycle cardboard, paper, bottles, glass and cans, clean dishes before using the dishwasher, using a fan when itt's hot rather than turning on your air conditioner
  • Kassi - Try not to throw too much trash away, Caring for hamster, not throwing away stuff for her hamster until well used, turn off the heat and open the windows, if it is cold for my brother and I, we put on sweaters instead of warming up the whole house
  • Lily- Turn off the lights when you are not in the house, remind mother to recycle plastic, cardboard and paper, shut the windows to keep warm rather than having the windows open
  • Joe - recycle plastic bottles, newspapers, paper, cans, aluminum, use rechargeable batteries, wearing a coat rather than turning on the heat in house, walking the dog rather than using the treadmill. using the hand sanitizer rather than washing hands for every little thing
  • Lilian- a good night's sleep provides us with energy, rest and take deep breaths to restore energy, turn off the night lights when we get up in the morning
  • Lanie - turn off the lights when you are not in the room, use the stove as little as possible, cook food on the grill, turn off lights in car when not using it at night, use Dad's radio in the car which does not use any energy
  • Nate - when we turn off the TV we turn off the cable as well so we don't waste that energy, turn off the lights when you leave the room, walking the dog saves energy
  • Brooks - keep the water off when you are not using it, don't leave the lights on when you are not using it, don't watch much TV, recycle boxes, plastic stuff, cardboard stuff, plastics, glass, don't use heaters very much but rather get a coat or sweater to keep warm.
  • Fia - Don't flush the toilet unnecessarily, change into short sleeves rather than usoing the air conditioner.
